Cautionsthe UT89X NCV multimeter

  • The mV range reading may be unstable when no load is connected; it will stabilize after a load is connected
  • True RMS measurement, AC crest factor: full-scale value up to 3.0
  • No additional error is added when the crest factor of non-sinusoidal waveforms is no greater than 3.0
  • Audible and visual alarms will be triggered when the current is ≥10A
  • Measuring time should not exceed 60 seconds within the range of 6~10A
  • The interval between adjacent measurements should be no less than 1 minute
  • The power supply to the circuit under test must be turned off before measuring resistance
  • All capacitors must be fully discharged
  • Resistance measurement of live circuits is prohibited
  • Do not input voltages higher than 60V DC or 30V AC
  • When measuring frequency, press the SEL/REL key to switch between frequency and duty cycle
  • Only type K thermocouples can be connected
  • The temperature of the object being measured must not exceed 230°C / 446°F
  • Press the SEL/REL key to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit
  • Precautions: During testing, the transistor must be inserted into the corresponding transistor test port
  • Pay attention to distinguishing between NPN and PNP types, and the E, B, and C terminals.

  • Do not use if the battery cover or back cover is not properly closed
