✅Channel Grounding Issues

The UT81B+ has two non-isolated channels. During measurement, both channels must use a common reference. The ground wires of the two probes must not be connected to two non-isolated points with different DC levels. Otherwise, a short circuit may occur due to the ground connection of the oscilloscope probes.

✅High Voltage Measurement Limitations

When testing in a CAT II environment, do not connect voltages exceeding 400V to any input port.

✅Special care must be taken when using 1:1 test leads, as the probe voltage is directly transmitted to the oscilloscope

Do not touch exposed metal BNC or banana plugs

Do not insert metal objects into the connector
