FAQs:

✅Is the UT39C+ set to automatic or manual range? How should I adjust the range if I don't know the voltage being measured?

This is a manual range multimeter. If you cannot estimate the magnitude of the voltage or current being measured, you must first set it to the highest range (such as AC 750V or DC 1000V) to take the measurement, and then gradually reduce the range based on the reading to obtain a more accurate number of decimal places.

✅If I accidentally use the resistance setting to measure 220V, will the meter burn out?

This meter features full-featured protection against false tests and a robust anti-high-voltage false test device. Within the CAT III 600V safety standard range, short-term false tests will generally not burn out the motherboard. However, such operations should be avoided as much as possible, because if a large current overload occurs, the internal fuse will still blow to protect the circuit.

✅Is this watch power-hungry? Do I need to remove the battery if it's not used for a long time?

This meter is very energy-efficient, consuming only 1.6mA under normal operation.
