  • High-density multi-channel input

The NI-9205 offers an industry-leading high-density channel configuration, integrated within a single module.32 single-ended inputs or 16 differential inputs, all channels share a single programmable gain instrumentation amplifier (PGIA),channels share a single 16-bit ADC via a multiplexer (MUX). This design maximizes channel density and reduces the unit channel cost of the system while ensuring measurement accuracy.

Each channel supports four programmable input ranges:

Input impedance: >10 GΩ in parallel with 100 pF (power-on state), ensuring low load effect on the measured signal. Input bias current: ±100 pA, minimizing measurement errors. Common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR): 100 dB from DC to 60 Hz, effectively suppressing common-mode noise. Analog bandwidth: 370 kHz, supporting high-frequency signal acquisition. Crosstalk rejection: -65 dB for adjacent channels, -70 dB for non-adjacent channels (@100 kHz).

Analog Input Function

The NI-9205 supports three measurement modes:

Differential

  • Measure the voltage difference between the two inputs

RSE - Referenced Single-Ended

  • All channels are referenced to ground via the common terminal (COM)
